Let me explain, this isn’t something I created, just merely something I came across, that I think is really good and thought everyone should have the opportunity to know about it.
B.R.A.T. is a concept created by Marco Battilana at Accessites.org.
It’s brilliantly simple.
To stop content editors creating poorly formatted content, i.e. inline styles, use of font tag etc …
Insert a short piece of CSS into the top of your global stylesheet.

If anybody tries to use a deprecated element or something you don’t agree with, it’ll be big, red and angry. For all to see.
And that’s it. Simple.
Try it yourself!

Good morning Jonny.
Thank you for the mention. I’m truly amazed that this still gets the attention that it does!
I’m a firm believer in empowering the user to learn about standards-based design! Even if it is an “in-your-face” technique ;)
And, nice site design, if I may say so :)
Regards,
Marco
